Vestibular dysfunction refers to a broad range of disorders that affect the vestibular system, which is responsible for maintaining balance, spatial orientation, and coordination of eye movements. These disorders can result in various symptoms, including dizziness, vertigo (a spinning sensation), imbalance, difficulty concentrating, blurred vision, and nausea. Common types of vestibular dysfunction include Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV), Meniere’s disease, vestibular migraine, Acoustic neuroma, labyrinthitis, and vestibular neuritis.
